Some asked for it!

Hey all!

Just an FYI: I published my girlfriend's list of practical words. The list is titled Jane's Teachings. Might be worth a look. I know a few people were asking me for the lists. I have part 2 under construction at the moment. Warning: some of the words may be dirty (髒話)。 (as in you'll know how to flirt with Chinese men or women). Hope you all find it useful

Cheers,

勇氣

This sounds much more useful than the Magic the Gathering M14 Core Set (simp.) list that I'm working on putting together right now. Lot's of fun stuff in this list. Thanks for sharing, 勇氣!

For those who're interested, the direct link to the list can be found here:

Thank you! Seems very useful

This list is very useful! Are you sure you want to have your girlfriend's name as part of a public vocab list, though?

马洲屹   May 4th, 2014 1:34a.m.

It only has her first name (which is also just her adopted English name, as I believe from previous posts she is Chinese), so I think Klooste's girlfriend should be fine :).

emilyhorner   May 4th, 2014 8:01a.m.

Her full name (I think?) is one of the vocab words.

Probably not a security issue, but probably also not relevant vocabulary for the rest of us.

Looks fun, thanks for sharing!

@emilyhorner, ah I see...good point :).

安勇氣   May 4th, 2014 11:10p.m.

True, I am sorry for that!

You may find some of the characters useful in her name though (安靜的靜 for example).

Quick question: i noticed. You wrote in other threads using traditional characters. From this I assume your girlfriend is not from Mainland China.

Are any of the words in the list specific to a particular region?

Nice work, either way!

安勇氣   June 18th, 2014 1:22a.m.

Sorry to write back so late! My girlfriend is from southern China, but she writes traditional for me (and she knows canto as well, which she argues writing tradtional for her is actually easier anyway...) I hope this response helps answer your concern; please feel free to send me a message if you have any other questions!

祝好
